Account and payment

Can I run several exports?

Yes, unlimited. Lifetime refers to the number of exports, so you can run the archive again whenever you like without paying again.

Yes. Lifetime means an unlimited number of exports: you pay once and can then run it as many times as you need, with no limit on how many files or how many gigabytes go through in total, and no fee attached to any run after the first.

It is not a theoretical benefit. The most common reasons to run it again are concrete: you forgot to tick the JSON files the first time and got an archive with dates but no times or locations, you discovered a ZIP part was missing and half your memories with it, or you have simply saved new memories since last time and want an updated archive.

We thought it would be wrong to charge you a second time because Snapchat's export flow is easy to get wrong the first time. A one-off price that only covers one attempt is not a one-off price in practice.

Each run is handled separately and does not overwrite earlier results. You download whichever archive you want, and you can compare two of them if you are unsure, which is useful when you have run the same export twice and want to know whether the second attempt actually recovered more times and locations than the first.

Reasonable use applies, of course. Lifetime is meant for your own memories, not for automated bulk processing or resale. It is written into the terms, and we get in touch before we limit anything rather than cutting somebody off without a word.
