About the service

What does it cost?

99 kr (Swedish kronor) once. No subscription, no fees per export.

99 kr in Swedish kronor, once. It is not a subscription, it does not renew, and there are no fees per export. The price includes Swedish VAT. We charge in Swedish kronor wherever you live, so the amount your card is billed is this one, converted by your bank at their rate.

Lifetime means unlimited exports: you can run the archive again later, for example once you have fetched a fresh export from Snapchat or realised you forgot to tick the JSON files the first time, without paying again.

The reason it is a one-off price and not a monthly fee is straightforward: the point of the service is that you stop renting your own memories. It would be contradictory to solve that problem with yet another subscription. Snapchat+ costs 399 Swedish kronor a year in Sweden, and that fee never ends for as long as you want to keep the content. Ours is paid once.

One clarification about the word Lifetime, since it is often used carelessly: it refers to the lifetime of the service, not yours. The guarantee holds for as long as we run the service, and if we ever had to close down we would give notice in good time so you could run your exports. An archive you have already downloaded is unaffected. Those are ordinary files on your computer and they work without us.

We also give you 14 days to change your mind, with the reservations that apply to a service that has already been carried out. That is our policy rather than a statement about consumer law where you live, since the service is run from Sweden and the rules that apply to you depend on where you are. The details are in the terms.
