Do you need my Snapchat password?
No, never. We do not log in to your account. We only work with the export file you have asked for and downloaded yourself.
No. We never ask for your Snapchat password, and we never log in to your account. There is no field for it anywhere in the service, because there is nothing we would do with it.
The whole service is built on the export file that you request from Snapchat and download yourself, and nothing else. We only get the file you choose to hand over. We need no access to the account to do the job, because everything we work with is already in the file.
It is also a reason to be careful with services that ask for your Snapchat login details in order to "fetch the memories for you". It is not technically necessary, it breaks Snapchat's terms of use, and it gives somebody else full access to your account: your chats, your friends, your Snap Map. If you have ever handed your password to a service like that, change it.
We also cannot see anything in your Snapchat account that you have not put into our service yourself. If you choose to upload only part of the export, that part is all we have. We cannot see your chats, your friend list or anything you left behind in the app, and no setting on our side could change that.
The account you create with us is completely separate from Snapchat. It is only used to connect your purchase to you and to let you collect your finished archive, and it works perfectly well with an email address you never gave to Snapchat.
