Who is behind SparaMinaMemories?
An independent Swedish initiative with no connection to Snap Inc. The service was built after the founder tried to import his own export and threw his whole photo library out of order.
We are a small, independent Swedish initiative and have no connection whatsoever to Snap Inc. Snapchat is a trademark belonging to Snap Inc., and we are neither affiliated with them nor endorsed by them.
The service started with a problem of our own. The founder downloaded his entire Snapchat export and assumed the rest would be simple: put the pictures in the gallery and be done. Instead, several years of old memories landed at the top of the photo library as though they had been taken that same day, mixed in with new pictures and carrying filenames nobody could make sense of.
The files were there, but the memories were not back. The difference between those two things is the entire reason the service exists, and it is the part that is hard to explain until it has happened to you.
We are a small Swedish company. The service is run from Sweden, under Swedish law, with Swedish terms and Swedish VAT, and it is sold in Swedish kronor wherever in the world you happen to live and whatever language you read this page in. The company details are on the contact page, and our terms and privacy policy are written to be read rather than merely to exist.
If you have questions this page does not answer, you are welcome to email us. We would rather answer once too often than once too few, and we would rather tell you that the service is not right for you than sell you something you do not need.
